Paintings
Ok, no, I didn't actually paint these. These were all done on the computer using Fireworks and Photoshop. Though, in my opinion, they resemble paintings in a way. Thus, they are digital paintings to me. I just hope you like them. By the way, these are in chrono
Lake1 Ah, this is the first one I ever did so it holds a special place in my heart. If you've been to the poetry section you'll know that I don't post the personal poems I write to people. Well, I made this picture for the lovely Lauren based off a poem I'd written for her. I still like the picture though even not accompanied by the poem, so I wanted to post it. There is a rendition of this that I did to Neon Nights where I altered the picture slightly and instered the text of the poem. Maybe I'll put that up
moonbeach10 I did a pastel version of this on paper originally and liked it so much that I turned it into a computer painting. There were originally about 12 different versions of this, like different filters used, but I narrowed it down to 5 on my computer. This was always my favorite version though.
windmill02 I always wished I could draw because there were always pictures in my head that I wanted to put on paper. This was one that had sat in my mind for a long long while. Finally, right after I made moonbeach I made this one. It also had multiple versions of filtration.
windmill06 This is another version of the same picture above. I really like this filter effect because it was so unique from the others, that's why I put it on display here.
reversemoon The moon is a central theme in a multitude of my poetry and it appears in all of my pictures. This picture was made for lauren as well and her version had a messaged attated. I love the moon though so I also made this message free version for everyone. I like the reversedness of it.
cello I had an idea for a picture of a guy playing a cello under a willow tree. I think that would be a beautiful site in real life, but as I can't play the cello *yet* I had to make do with a digital one. This picture is a little odder looking, possibly akward I'll admit, but I still like it.
bridge Up until now most of the pictures had no real meaning, they were just things to be looked at. This one is definately to be looked at as I think its the prettiest I've done. But it was created with a thouht in mind. Basically the guy is alone on the bridge. If you'll look closely (or not that closely, whatever works) the girl there is faded. She's not supposed to really be there. Just a memory, or ghost (as the two are connected in soome ethereal theories I have) And we'll leave this one with the fact that I like the forest ~.^
end I couldn't think of a picture to do but I really wanted to do one so I asked a friend for a suggestion. She said 'draw what you think the end of the world would look like if it were flat and you could walk to it" So that's what i did. Er, I didn't execute it perfectly but the roots on the trees are on the ground and coming out of the side of the end of the world, but thats not really important, I just wanted to say that.
forest This picture, despite some angry proding actually has no meaning. As much as it would seem like it does, it doesn't. As much as I'd like to give it a meaning I won't. I just really liked the thought in my head of this picture so I made it ;Þ
