College Days and My Angel
I remember all those long college days
Counting down 'till I'd see you again
Waiting so solem at the baggage claim
Darkness in the terminal and suddenly then
Your beaming eyes shot through the black
Think and lonsome, almost horrific
And your voice so soft so warmed my heart
And I'd see you there looking quite seriphic
The halogen bars across the ceiling
Your halo and crown; an angel I'm sure
The beauty I'd behold was quite ineffible
A view for a lifetime I'd gladly endure
Though it would always hurt when again they'd spread
Your metalic wings, reflecting the sun
And again you'd have to fly back to home
But I always knew only this trip was done
