From The Rooftops

Head in the ground
Feet in the sky
Backwards as usual
Its a wonder why

I even try
To walk at all
Wavering, unsteady
Nearly I fall

But somehow I stand
And see the world now
With a rose filtered view
Obscured, and how

For I have seen it
Ninety-nine times before
But this one-hundreth
Makes me unsure

Quothe G. K.
Whose thoughts I adore

So through my toes
Like a glass bottom ferry
I watch a sea of stars
Swim round a winter cherry

The sun as coral
Nourishing, glowing
The space and time
Slowly flowing

And in the moon
I see the starlight
And in the day
I see the midnight

Now my eyes
See it all
With summer as winter
and spring as fall
