Nowhere
I looked into her deep blue swells
Round like swirling pools
Sucking me in with their powerful current
I was transported to three murderous duels
The first betwix two centipedes
Grappling arm to arm
Then walking away, guns yet drawn
And on the count, shooting to harm
But missing their targets
Peircing their lives
Cutting their lungs
Like molten knives
Bellies up
200 legs in the air
The bystanders sigh
And leave without care
I close their eyes
To give them peace
As their spirits exit
I'm with two geese
The second duel
Less violent this time
Two bumbling geese
Squaking for a lime
The peck and yell
So bloody loud
For something so sour
A thought I endowed
"Why not split it
Or get some more"
Shock and dismay
Were the expressions they wore
Then one pecked
And the other squaked
They faught once again
Till the gun was cocked
Boom! went the gun
Held in the swans left wing
She ate the lime
And let our ears ring
Sending me forward
To the final battle
Between fire and ice
Hissing of prattle
The antipodes lept
High in the air
And landed entangled
Just sitting there
The fire won first
As the ice turned to water
But the flames were extinguished
No one now hotter
I breathed in the vapors
Of this battle now passed
Back to reality
My mind was then cast
"Why are you staring
So intently at me
What were you thinking
What could it be"
"Don't worry, I wasn't getting any ideas"
"Oh really? That's just not how it seems"
"Not a single thought crossed through my mind
Except those of daydreams and passing moonbeams"
