The Silver Lining
Father time, he is waning
As he goes we're all complaining
Remembering events of times past
In the present though his shadow is cast
Only a sliver of moon left to be had
But its the most beautiful, we should be glad
The silver reflections seen in ponds
The silver reflection showing our bonds
Our ties between family and friends
Still lasting until the ripples cause bends
Distorting our past and loosing our place
Then father time leaves with a smile on his face.
