Supernova Night

When the sun is drunk and falls away
The moon is full and unicorns play
Don't slip under with the sky's daylight
Keep dreaming and living right through the night

I'd like to set sail on the sea of life
Across the oceans of the moon
And wake those solar metapods
Release them from their hard cacoons

Then have a drug enduced trip
With no toxins in my blood
Then wash away the sand in your eyes
Wash away that conscious mud

You need to see all you can
Eyes glossed over by rainbows bright
Embraced by your imagination
And lifted up to the highest hight

So when the sun goes nova at last
And you find the reality of light is passed
I'll sing to you like a midnight lark
Hoping you'd look into the night and realize its not so dark
