Thickened thoughts
Like waking from a dream

You don't know where you are
What to do
Only where you've been
And even that
Is slipping away

Now just a vague notion
That it made you happy

It's gone
And all you know
Is that something was there
And now you're here

Everything is losing the fuzz
You remember your bed
Your room
What you need to get done

But for one brief instant
You didn't know where you were
Where you were going
What was going on

Sometimes,
That moment
Can last an eternity

All I wanted
Was to hold you for the summer
